Our itinerary will start from the Roman Columns, an emblematic place that once marked the end of the Appian Way. Did you know that Brindisi, since the times of the Roman Empire, was a very important commercial port? We will discover this and other curiosities during our guided tour. We will reach the famous Monument to the Italian Sailor, a rudder-shaped structure erected in homage to the sailors who died during the First World War. We will reveal the role of Brindisi during the famous conflict. We will then move to Piazza Duomo, where some of the most important monuments of the city are located, such as the Basilica of San Giovanni Battista, the Loggia del Palazzo Balsamo and the Palazzo del Seminario. At the end of the tour, you will say goodbye to your guide in front of the Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna, after having discovered the history of this emblematic building.
