This traditional dessert, a true delight of Salento, boasts origins dating back to 1745 in a pastry shop in Galatina. With its inviting shortcrust pastry and soft heart of custard, the pasticciotto conquers at the first taste. Our experience begins with a brief introduction to the fascinating history of the Pasticciotto Leccese, revealing how this dessert has become a symbol of the pastry art of Salento. You will then continue with a practical cooking workshop, led by expert pastry chefs, who will teach you the secrets to creating the perfect pasticciotto, from the dough to the cooking.
Following, a food tasting: you will have the opportunity to taste your freshly baked pasticciotto.
