Bread is the most important food for poor farmers, so its creation, its typical shape, the bread mold, had an important role in the entire process. Today you will visit a typical Matera bakery for a tasting of some typical products such as Matera bread, focaccias and biscuits. You will listen to the story of the baker to discover the history of the wooden bread stamp, with which the dough was anciently marked before baking, and assist in the creation of a personalized model.
