Located on the Murge plateau, between the Itria Valley and the gates of Salento, the Masseria has roots that date back to the 16th century. With a tradition that spans four generations, the masseria maintains the authentic spirit of the ancient Apulian masserie intact. For this reason, the workshop will open with hints on the history of the masseria: you will visit the stables and discover the breeding techniques. You will visit the milking room and finally you will move on to visit the dairy and the cheese maturing cells.
Together with the cheesemaker, you will make mozzarella and burrata and end your morning with a tasting of the farm’s products, accompanied by a glass of local wine and focaccia from Puglia.
